Eventus Legal are seeking a Legal Secretary to join a successful Personal Injury team based in Huddersfield. This is a permanent, full-time role with great benefits.

Role responsibilities

The incoming Legal Secretary will be supporting the Personal Injury & Clinical Negligence team with a variety of matters, including but not limited to;

• Preparing legal documents, correspondence and completing documentation, both by audio and copy typing (digital dictation) for all personal injury and clinical negligence matters
• Photocopying, filing, scanning and other administrative duties
• First point of contact for the department on both the telephone and face-to-face (in normal circumstances), so excellent client care skills are required
• Supporting the team with time recording and billing

Person specification

Applications are sought from experienced Legal Secretaries ideally with experience within personal injury matters within a similar firm which undertakes high-value personal injury work, but Legal Secretaries with a strong background will also be considered.
