The Eventus Recruitment Group are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join a successful law firm in Newcastle. This is a full-time, permanent position. Benefits include flexible working, generous holiday allowance, bonus scheme and company events.
Role Responsibilities
The successful Legal Secretary will be joining a busy Private Client team and occasionally assisting the Matrimonial and Conveyancing teams. Other duties include:
- Diary management
- Typing dictation
- Preparing court forms and bundles
- Greeting visitors to the office
- Answering the telephone
- File opening
- Photocopying and scanning documents
Person Specification
The incoming Legal Secretary will be a well-organised team player with the ability to work independently and always provide excellent levels of customer service. The candidate will also be able to:
- Show a keen eye for detail
- Prioritise deadlines
- Prior experience as a Legal Secretary is essential, experience in a Private Client department is desirable
- Ability to work on own initiative
