Eventus Legal are seeking a part-time Receptionist to join a well-established and growing specialist criminal defence practice in Birmingham. This is a permanent Receptionist job offering a salary of circa £30,000 FTE pro rata, working ideally three days per week on an office-based basis in Birmingham. About the Role

As the Receptionist, you will become the first point of contact for clients, visitors and external contacts, playing an important part in creating a professional and welcoming experience for everyone interacting with the business. This is a varied and visible position offering a blend of front-of-house responsibilities and administrative support within a busy and friendly office environment. The successful Receptionist will enjoy working with people and take pride in maintaining high standards across the workplace.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the face of the business and providing a professional first impression for visitors and clients
  • Managing the reception area and ensuring a welcoming and organised environment is maintained at all times
  • Handling incoming calls and directing enquiries efficiently to the appropriate individuals

You will already have established experience working in a Receptionist position and will enjoy interacting with a wide variety of people on a daily basis. You should also be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with visitors, clients and colleagues

  • A stable employment history demonstrating commitment and longevity in previous positions
  • Experience within a legal environment would be advantageous but is not essential
