Eventus Legal are seeking a Learning and Development Manager to join a national law firm in Spalding, Lincolnshire. This full-time, permanent job offers a salary of £40,000 to £60,000 and hybrid working. You will shape and deliver learning across the firm, combining strategy, programme design and facilitation with practical administration. Role Responsibilities
As Learning and Development Manager in Spalding, you will work collaboratively within the HR team and legal departments across the firm and across multiple offices. Your focus will be on establishing dependable systems, learning plans and course administration to provide a consistently high-quality development experience. Key responsibilities will include:
- Shaping the firm's learning strategy and working with departments to support their development needs.
- Designing and facilitating learning programmes across the firm.
- Supporting early careers development and internal progression.
- Developing leadership and professional skills learning across the firm.
- Coordinating compliance, regulatory and digital learning.
- Establishing reliable learning plans, systems and course administration.
- Managing course administration and supporting a positive learner experience.
- Evaluating learning activity and making continuous improvements.
Person Specification
The successful Learning and Development Manager will bring previous learning and development experience. Experience within the legal sector would be an advantage. You should also be able to demonstrate the following:
- Strong organisational skills and a thorough approach to day-to-day administration.
- The ability to build credible, engaging working relationships with colleagues.
- Skills in learning programme design and facilitation.
- The ability to combine strategic planning with hands-on delivery.
- A collaborative approach to working with HR colleagues and departmental teams.
