Eventus Recruitment are seeking an experienced IFA Administrator to join a respected Financial Planning business based in Knutsford, Cheshire. This is a permanent, full-time IFA Administrator job working Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, with hybrid working in Knutsford, Cheshire (3–4 days per week from home) and flexible start and finish times.

Job Responsibilities:
This IFA Administrator job is central to supporting the smooth day-to-day running of a busy Financial Planning office and ensuring client service remains consistent and professional. The incoming IFA Administrator will provide proactive administrative support, maintain accurate records and help progress business efficiently by liaising with clients, providers and internal stakeholders.
- Providing administrative support to the office to ensure daily operations run smoothly
- Ensuring client files are complete, including identification documentation and required application paperwork
- Completing pre-meeting preparation and post-meeting follow-up, including accurate updates to client records on the CRM system
- Answering incoming telephone calls and communicating confidently with clients, product providers and third parties
- Meeting and greeting clients and visitors and supporting a professional front-of-house experience when required
- Running reports and illustrations and collating key data to support advisers and office processes
- Liaising with administration centres and third-party providers to ensure transactions complete within agreed timescales
- Progressing applications with product providers, including chasing outstanding items such as Letters of Authority
- Producing templated client letters and reports with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Processing applications accurately and recording required management information
- Proactively progressing cases with advisers, clients and third parties to ensure timely completion

- Previous experience in an office support job, ideally within financial services or a related sector
- Experience using a client management system or CRM, with Salesforce experience beneficial
- Knowledge of relevant regulation and legislation is desirable
- Excellent face-to-face and telephone communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Strong written communication skills and confidence producing templated correspondence
- Broad Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a consistent focus on accuracy
- Effective time management with the ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities
- Calm under pressure with a positive and professional approach at all times
- Comfortable working independently on own workload while contributing to shared team objectives
