Eventus Recruitment are seeking a full-time permanent IFA Administrator to join a Financial Planning business based in Warrington, Cheshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team and contribute to the efficient running of a successful practice. This is a hybrid working role (3 days in the office, 2 days remote working), with a salary of £30,000 – £31,000. You will benefit from 10% employer pension contribution, 28 days holiday (plus bank holidays) with the option to purchase a further 3 days, annual bonus, 4x salary death in service, option to join a private medical insurance scheme, and funded support for up to 5 exams (with a salary increase of £500 for each passed exam).

Role Responsibilities

This is a varied and rewarding job where the incoming IFA Administrator will be responsible for supporting financial advisers and the Managing Directors with administrative and operational tasks. Typical duties include:

  • Providing high-level technical and administrative support to advisers and directors across multiple locations.
  • Managing client queries and correspondence via phone and email.
  • Ensuring accurate data input and maintenance on Intelligent Office (IO).
  • Preparing client files and compliance documentation, including research, illustrations, and supporting documents.
  • Ensuring all client records are complete with the necessary identification and forms.
  • Processing applications and tracking their progress with providers and clients.
  • Managing adviser diaries and client appointments.
  • Assisting in the management and development of client relationships.
  • Promoting services and generating referrals.
  • Supporting clients in understanding the full range of services and gathering client feedback.
  • Supporting the Valuations team with valuations when required.
  • Contributing to ad-hoc project work and operational support.

Person Specification

The successful IFA Administrator will be an experienced and detail-oriented individual with a passion for delivering high-quality support. The essential skills and qualities include:

  • Previous experience in financial services or a similar professional office environment.
  • Understanding of relevant regulation and compliance requirements.
  • Progress toward or interest in professional qualifications (e.g., FPC, Diploma) is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and rapport-building skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of discretion, professionalism, and a proactive attitude.
