Eventus Recruitment are seeking a full-time permanent IFA Administrator to join a well-established Independent Financial Planning business based in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dedicated adviser support team, working alongside experienced financial advisers. Role Responsibilities

The successful IFA Administrator will play a vital role in supporting their Financial Planners and ensuring the smooth delivery of client services.  Daily duties within this job will include:

  • Accurately processing new business applications across a range of financial products and platforms. 
  • Managing fund switches, surrenders, income and investment withdrawals efficiently and compliantly. 
  • Obtaining and preparing all necessary pre-sale documentation, including quotations and illustrations. 
  • Acting as a point of contact for clients, providing updates and responding to queries with professionalism and care. 
  • Liaising with product providers to collect information on clients’ existing arrangements. 
  • Preparing accurate and comprehensive valuation reports to support client reviews and planning meetings. 
  • Handling ongoing servicing requests, ensuring all client needs are met promptly and efficiently. 
  • Maintaining accurate client records via the back-office system.

Person Specification

Our client is seeking IFA and Financial Planning Administrators with the following qualifications, skills, and attributes:

  • Previous experience in financial services support or administrative roles is essential, with a strong knowledge of investment and pension products. 
  • Familiarity with platforms such as AJ Bell, Aviva, Aberdeen Wrap, and Transact is highly desirable. 
  • The ability to use Word and Excel proficiently.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. 
  • Preferably holds or is working towards the Diploma in Financial Planning.
