Eventus Recruitment are seeking a full-time permanent IFA Administrator to join a professional and friendly Financial Planning firm based in Bolton, Lancashire. This is an outstanding opportunity offering a salary of £28,000, and flexible working patterns. The successful applicant will also benefit from 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and their birthday day off, a 5% employer pension contribution, loyalty bonus scheme, discretionary performance bonuses, fully funded social events, study support/funding and structured training support with pay rises linked to exam progression.

Role Responsibilities
This IFA Administrator job will see the successful applicant providing wide-ranging administrative support to Financial Advisers and the wider team. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting advisers with daily administrative tasks
  • Managing client communications and scheduling review meetings
  • Liaising with product providers and third parties to obtain plan information
  • Preparing compliant pre-sale files including research, illustrations, and documentation
  • Completing post-sale checks to ensure all client records are accurate and up to date
  • Maintaining and updating client data within internal systems
  • Producing portfolio valuations and processing new business and fund switches
  • Ensuring the end-to-end business process is tracked and compliant
  • Attending and contributing to regular team meetings

Person Specification
This IFA Administrator role in Bolton is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive individual with financial services experience. Desired experience and skills include:

  • Previous experience in an administration role within financial services
  • Experience supporting Financial Advisers or within an IFA firm
  • Familiarity with Financial Planning CRM systems
  • High levels of organisation and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage competing tasks and maintain quality under pressure
  • Team-oriented with a positive and adaptable approach
