Eventus Recruitment are seeking a full-time permanent IFA Administrator to join a successful IFA / Financial Planning business based in Altrincham, Greater Manchester. This is a great opportunity to join a team of professionals who are committed to delivering personalised and strategic advice, ensuring that their clients achieve their financial goals. Working hours are 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday and you will receive 24 days holiday (plus bank holidays), team bonus, excellent company pension, income protection (75% of salary), group life cover (death in service) - 4x salary and study support.

Role Responsibilities

The successful IFA Administrator will support financial planners in a range of administrative tasks. This is a full-time permanent job and an excellent opportunity for a financial planning professional to grow and develop. The day-to-day job duties include:

  • Processing and submitting new business adhering to the new business workflow
  • Submitting Letters of Authority and collating all of the required plan details for research and analysis
  • Meeting and greeting clients, answering and dealing with incoming enquiries 
  • Portfolio rebalancing, buying and selling 
  • Accurately processing client withdrawals and contributions and monitoring these through to completion
  • Preparing clients packs for Annual Review meetings and then completing the work required post meeting 
  • Writing basic Suitability Reports
  • Completing research for new business cases, primarily fund and cost analysis

Person Specification

Our client is looking for professionals with the following experience, skills and attributes:

  • Experience of working in a financial planning / financial advice firm
  • A desire to grow and develop - the employer supports staff with their professional development which includes paying a bonus on each exam passed
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Client focused with the ability to provide an exceptional client experience
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Desire to pursue a career in financial planning and attain relevant certifications
