Eventus Legal are seeking an experienced Conveyancer to be the Head of Department of a well-established and reputable law firm with offices in Carlisle and Penrith. This is a full-time, permanent role within a welcoming, supportive team. Following the retirement of their long-standing Head of Department, our client is searching for a skilled and ambitious Conveyancer to lead the department and contribute to the firm’s continued success.

Role Responsibilities

The incoming Conveyancer will be supporting a small but busy team and will be managing a varied caseload of residential property transactions including:

• Sales and Purchases
• Re-mortgages
• Transfers of equity
• New builds
• Help to buy
• Shared Ownership

Person specification

Applications are sought from experienced Property Solicitors or Licensed Conveyancers who are looking for an opportunity to lead a team.

Successful applicants will ideally have at least 5 years of experience and be able to demonstrate the following:

• Exceptional client care skills
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Organisational skills with excellent time management
• Proactivity and the ability to work with minimal supervision
• A collaborative team spirit
• Leadership qualities
