Eventus Legal are seeking a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive with experience to join a successful team based in Skipton, to lead the Private Client team. The successful Head of Private Client will be working with excellent administration support, hybrid working and progression opportunities due to succession. The role is a permanent position available on a full time or reduced hours basis.
Role responsibilities
The incoming Head of Private Client Solicitor will be experienced and expected to confidently run their own caseload of private client matters which may encompass will, probate and estate administration, court of protection, LPAs along with creating and managing trusts and advising on Inheritance Tax issues. The work and client base is highly varied, often dealing with clients with complex agricultural issues.
You will also be leading a small, but competent team including both at Solicitor level and Administration level.
Person specification
Applications are sought from Solicitors or Legal Executives who are experienced in Private Client matters, ideally those above 5-8 PQE, although applicants with less than this will be considered if you have the requisite skills.
You will have a high level of interpersonal skills including written and oral communication skills and be able to maintain a friendly and sensitive manner, be articulate, cooperative and self-confident when dealing with client enquiries. Those with STEP qualifications, or other relevant private client qualifications would be welcomed.
