Eventus Legal are seeking a Family Solicitor to join a successful, growing law firm based in Darlington. This is a permanent role where full-time and part-time working will be considered.

Role Responsibilities

The incoming Family Solicitor will deal exclusively in private family law matters. Some of the daily duties will include:

• Managing your own complex caseload of mid-high value divorce, finance and private law children matters
• Dealing with your own advocacy in finances and private law children
• Drafting complex orders
• Advising clients on all other areas of privately funded family matters including, cohabitation and pre-nuptial agreements, child arrangements and child disputes.

Person Specification

Applications are sought from Solicitors or Legal Executives who are experienced in Family Law, ideally those 5 years PQE and above (although those with less than 5 PQE will be considered should you be able to demonstrate the requisite experience). The successful candidate will require knowledge of pensions and capital gains tax and must be experienced in all areas of private Family Law in order to apply.
