Eventus Legal are seeking a Family Solicitor with around four to eight years' PQE to join a well-regarded law firm based in Liverpool, Merseyside. This full-time or part-time, permanent job offers a salary of £45,000 to £65,000 depending on experience, hybrid working, the chance to work alongside a highly experienced financial remedy specialist and an outstanding benefits package.

 

Role Responsibilities

As the Family Solicitor, you will manage your own caseload of privately funded family work, gaining exposure to a broad and interesting range of matters. Your caseload will include:

  • High-value financial remedy cases
  • Divorce matters involving businesses, trusts and pensions
  • Complex cohabitation disputes
  • Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements
  • International family law issues
  • Private children matters
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships through excellent client care

 

Person Specification

This Family Solicitor job would suit a qualified Solicitor or Lawyer with approximately four to eight years' PQE in family law. To be considered, you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Strong experience in privately funded family work
  • The ability to manage your own caseload with autonomy
  • A collaborative approach to working within a wider family team
  • Financial remedy experience is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent communication and client care skills, with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Flexibility to spend two to three days each week working from the Liverpool office, alongside hybrid and remote working for the remainder
