About the Job
This Family Solicitor job offers the opportunity to manage a varied private family law caseload within a busy and supportive team environment. The Family Solicitor will be responsible for handling matters from instruction through to resolution, including court representation and client care across a range of emotionally sensitive cases. 

Key responsibilities include: 

• Managing a varied caseload of private family law matters including divorce, financial remedy and private children disputes 

• Conducting own advocacy in court hearings and representing clients effectively in proceedings 

• Progressing matters from initial instruction through to settlement or final hearing with minimal supervision 

• Drafting applications, statements and legal documents with a high level of accuracy and clarity 

• Liaising with clients, counsel and third parties to progress matters efficiently and maintain strong client care standards 

• Supporting compliance processes and ensuring files are maintained in line with regulatory requirements 

• Identifying and progressing opportunities for settlement through negotiation and alternative dispute resolution 

• Contributing to the smooth running of the Family Solicitor workload within the wider team in Stoke-On-Trent  

About You 
The hiring company is seeking a Family Solicitor who can demonstrate competence in handling a family law caseload and confidence in managing matters independently or with appropriate support depending on PQE level.
