Eventus Legal are seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to join a well-established law firm in Liverpool managing a caseload of HNW matters with autonomy and the support of an assistant.

This is a permanent, full-time job offering hybrid working, excellent progression prospects and exposure to complex private family work. In addition to an excellent salary your package will include additional pension contributions,  death in service benefit, healthcare, parental leave and additional annual leave.

 

About the Job

This Family Associate job in Liverpool presents an excellent opportunity to join a growing family law team, working predominantly with high-net-worth individuals on a wide range of privately funded matters. You will take ownership of a varied and often complex caseload, while benefiting from the support of an experienced partner and a dedicated assistant to ensure efficient file management.

You should also be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Managing a full caseload of private family law matters with minimal supervision
  • Advising on divorce, financial remedy proceedings and private children matters
  • Handling complex HNW financial cases and asset structures
  • Drafting high-quality pleadings, agreements and legal correspondence
  • Conducting negotiations and advising on settlement strategies
  • Preparing for and attending court hearings including FDRs and final hearings
  • Instructing and liaising with counsel, experts and other professionals
  • Advising on cohabitation disputes, Schedule 1 claims and nuptial agreements
  • Promoting non-court dispute resolution options where appropriate
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships with a high level of care and professionalism

 

About You

This opportunity would suit an experienced Family Associate or Family Lawyer who is confident managing a high-value caseload and working closely with HNW clients. You will be comfortable working independently while also contributing positively to a collaborative and supportive team environment.

You should also be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Qualified solicitor with ideally with a minimum 5 years’ PQE in family law
  • Experience managing a full caseload of private family matters independently
  • Strong knowledge of divorce, financial remedy and private children work
  • Experience advising HNW clients or handling complex financial cases
  • Ability to draft high-quality legal documentation and correspondence
  • Confident advocacy skills and experience attending court hearings
  • Commercial awareness with a pragmatic and solution-focused approach
  • Excellent client care skills with a sensitive and professional manner
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines
