Eventus Recruitment is seeking an experienced Family Solicitor (3-6 years PQE) to head a small but growing team at a well‑respected, Lexcel‑accredited law firm in Epsom. Role Responsibilities
As Family Solicitor leading the Epsom office family team, you will:
- Manage a full spectrum of family law cases: divorce, finances, separation, children, and injunctions
- Supervise and mentor junior fee‑earners, delegating caseloads effectively
- Draft Cohabitation Agreements and Prenuptial Agreements
- Monitor billing, cash flow, and achieve financial targets
- Ensure compliance with risk management and file procedures per Lexcel standards
- Provide cover during staff absences or busy periods
- Support business development and departmental marketing efforts
Person Specification
We're looking for a Family Solicitor with 3–6 years PQE, who is ready to take on leadership and deliver exceptional client service.
Key skills and attributes include:
- Qualified Solicitor or CILEX with solid private family law experience
- A track record in leading or supervising a small team
- Proficiency with case and practice management systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Commercial awareness and strong billing discipline
- IT literacy and high organisational capability
- Flexibility to cover work out of hours when required
