Eventus Legal are recruiting for a Family Solicitor with experience in private finances to join the private Family team of a successful, growing, regional law firm, from their head office in Darlington, County Durham. This is a permanent position offered either full-time or 4 days per week. Role Responsibilities
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced solicitor to handle a varied caseload of complex and high-value financial matters arising from divorce and separation, including (but not limited to) property, pensions, businesses, trusts, and international assets.
The incoming Family Solicitor will advise and represent clients on all aspects of private family finance law, including financial settlements, spousal maintenance, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, cohabitation disputes, and financial provision for children.
Person Specification
Applications are sought from experienced Solicitors with a strong background in private finance matters and a minimum of 5 years PQE. You will also:
- Have a proven track record of handling complex and mid to high-value financial cases, with excellent technical and analytical skills.
- Pride yourself on a client-focused approach, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships and deliver high-quality service.
- Possess excellent communication and advocacy skills, both written and oral, with the ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear and concise manner.
