Eventus Legal are seeking a Solicitor or Legal Executive to join the Family department of a dynamic, award-winning law firm with offices across the North of England. This is a full-time, permanent job, based at their office in Blackburn. In addition to a competitive salary they also offer a generous holiday allowance, your birthday off and hybrid working.
Role Responsibilities
My client seeks an experienced Solicitor or Legal Executive to join their expanding Family team. You’ll be working alongside an experienced, supportive and friendly team who specialise in private and public children's law matters. Your caseload will include the following matters:
- Enforcing contact orders
- Preventing contact
- Residence
- Abduction
- Prohibited steps
- Specific issue orders
- Domestic abuse
Along with managing your own caseload of the above matters you’ll conduct your own advocacy and maintain your knowledge of relevant legislation.
Person Specification
We are actively seeking applications from Solicitors or Legal Executives who have substantial experience handling a caseload similar to that described above. You will also be able to demonstrate the following qualities:
- Client-focused with an empathetic nature
- Ability to deal with complex and distressing cases
- Excellent technical knowledge
- Organised
- Self-motivated
- Strong IT skills
