Eventus Legal are seeking a skilled and compassionate Family Solicitor to join an award-winning and Legal 500-ranked law firm based in East London. With a strong focus on family law, the team pride themselves on delivering personalised solutions and achieving positive outcomes for their clients and are looking for someone to join the expanding department. This is a permanent, full-time job.
Role Responsibilities
The appointed Family Solicitor will have experience in managing a range of private law matters, including finance and children matters. You will be expected to demonstrate a proven track record within family law and have an open and friendly approach with clients. Your daily duties will include but not be limited to:
- Managing a caseload from inception to resolution
- Providing comprehensive legal advice and guidance to clients
- Conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, and representing clients in court proceedings when necessary
- Collaborating with other solicitors, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management and client satisfaction
- Business development and networking
Person Specification
The incoming Family Solicitor will join a highly regarded team and will have 6+ years PQE and be committed to providing outstanding client service. You will be able to navigate complex legal issues with professionalism and empathy. You will also be able to display:
- Good interpersonal and organisational skills
- Ability to organise and prioritise your workload within the required timescales
- Attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly and concisely
- Keen commercial awareness and a creative mindset
- Ability to build rapport with clients, understand their needs, and provide tailored legal solutions
