Eventus Legal is seeking an experienced and talented Employment Litigation Solicitor to join a dynamic and growing Employment team, based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. You will be autonomous in managing your own caseload but also support the wider team on complex matters covering both claimant and respondent litigation matters. Experience of non-contentious employment work would also be considered. The successful Employment Solicitor will have a minimum of 4 years PQE and a passion for supporting and assisting their clients. This is a full time, permanent job offering a competitive salary up to £65,000 (dependent on experience), hybrid and flexible working, quarterly bonus schemes, a strong focus on development, progression and collaboration, regular staff social events, 26.5 days holiday plus bank holidays, Medicash Healthcare scheme, funding towards training and development opportunities and a company pension.
Role Responsibilities:
The incoming Employment Solicitor will be responsible for providing support in the following areas:
- Manage your own caseload with a high degree of autonomy, while collaborating with colleagues on complex claimant and respondent litigation matters
- Contribute to a broad mix of employment law work, with experience in non-contentious matters considered an advantage
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team supporting local, national, and international clients across a wide range of industries
- Deliver specialist employment law services, including Employment Tribunal litigation and advisory support through a Box HR Scheme
- Provide clear, commercially focused legal advice and develop tailored solutions that meet clients’ business needs
Person Specification:

Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years’ PQE in a similar role or environment
- Strong IT proficiency, with the ability to confidently use a range of systems and software relevant to the role
- A high level of initiative, with proven ability to manage workload effectively, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with colleagues, clients, and external stakeholders
- A collaborative mindset, with a genuine desire to represent and promote both the team and the firm positively, internally and externally
- A strong willingness to learn, with a proactive attitude towards continuous improvement and professional development
- Self-motivation and ambition to drive your own career progression, taking responsibility for identifying and achieving development goals
