Eventus Legal are seeking an Employment Solicitor to join a well-established law firm on a permanent basis in Solihull, West Midlands. About the Role 

As the successful Employment Solicitor, you will join a respected Employment team advising a broad range of business and individual clients on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters. This job offers the opportunity to manage complex work, build long-term client relationships and contribute to the continued success and growth of the department. You will enjoy a varied caseload while working alongside experienced colleagues within a supportive and commercially focused environment. 

Key responsibilities include: 

• Managing a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters from instruction through to conclusion 

• Representing clients in Employment Tribunal proceedings and overseeing cases through each stage of the process 

• Providing commercially focused employment law advice to employers and individual clients across a wide range of workplace issues 

• Supporting corporate transactions by delivering employment law advice and carrying out due diligence 

• Drafting and negotiating employment contracts, workplace policies, settlement agreements and associated documentation 

• Building and maintaining strong client relationships through trusted legal advice and excellent service 

• Contributing to business development through networking activities, seminars and client training events 

About You 

This Employment Solicitor job is suited to an experienced legal professional who enjoys delivering practical advice while developing lasting client relationships. You will be confident managing your own workload, thrive within a collaborative environment and be motivated to contribute to the ongoing success of a growing Employment team. 

You should also be able to demonstrate the following: 

• Qualified Employment Solicitor with approximately 5–6 years' PQE gained within a UK law firm 

• Strong technical knowledge across both contentious and non-contentious employment law 

• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy and varied caseload independently 

• A proactive and commercially aware approach to client service and business development 

• Confident using legal case management systems and Microsoft Office applications 

• Excellent attention to detail with strong drafting and analytical skills 

• Outstanding communication and relationship-building abilities with clients and colleagues 

• A collaborative attitude with the ambition to contribute positively to a growing department
