Eventus Legal are seeking an Employment Solicitor to join a growing Employment team in Redditch, Worcestershire. This is a permanent, full-time job offering a competitive salary dependent on experience, hybrid working opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package. Working Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.15pm, this position provides exposure to a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters whilst offering the opportunity to work alongside experienced specialists within a supportive and collaborative environment.

About the Role

This Employment Solicitor job offers the opportunity to manage a varied caseload whilst advising both businesses and individuals on a wide range of employment law matters. Working as part of an established team, you will play an important role in delivering commercially focused advice and building long-term client relationships. The position provides a strong platform for career development within a respected and growing legal practice.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters
  • Advising both employer and employee clients on workplace issues and disputes
  • Providing commercially focused and pragmatic legal advice
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
  • Supporting business development initiatives and networking activities
  • Managing matters efficiently to ensure appropriate cost control and profitability
  • Assisting with related commercial and business enquiries where appropriate
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm
  • Maintaining accurate file management and compliance procedures
  • Delivering a consistently high standard of client care

About You

Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors with employment law experience, including newly qualified Solicitors who have gained significant exposure to employment matters during their training contract. You will be confident managing your workload, building client relationships and delivering practical legal advice.

  • You should also be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Experience advising on employment law matters for businesses and/or individuals
  • Strong technical knowledge of contentious and non-contentious employment law
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A proactive and commercial approach to problem-solving
  • Confidence using case management and legal technology systems
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong client relationship management abilities
  • Professionalism and sound commercial awareness
