Eventus Legal are seeking an Employment Solicitor / Employment Lawyer with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE to join an expanding Employment Law team in Newcastle Upon Tyne, Tyne & Wear. This is a permanent, full-time Employment Solicitor job offering a salary of £45,000 - £65,000, flexible hybrid working (including remote working) and an excellent benefits package. Role Responsibilities
The incoming Employment Solicitor will manage a diverse caseload of employment law matters, providing clear and commercially focused legal advice to a broad client base.
Key responsibilities for this Employment Solicitor job include:
- Managing a full caseload of employment law matters across contentious and non-contentious areas
- Advising clients on employment law issues, HR best practice and employment aspects of corporate transactions
- Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies, handbooks and settlement agreements
- Representing clients in Employment Tribunals and negotiations, and assisting counsel where required
- Conducting legal research and staying up to date with legislative developments
- Supporting and mentoring junior solicitors and support staff within the Employment Law team
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, contributing to ongoing business development
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
Person Specification
Applications are sought from qualified Employment Solicitors, Employment Lawyers or Associate Solicitors with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE. This Employment Solicitor job is ideal for a legal professional who enjoys managing a varied caseload and delivering high standards of client service.
