Eventus Recruitment is seeking a qualified Employment Solicitor (2–4 PQE) for a full-time, permanent role based in Orpington. Role Responsibilities
The incoming Employment Solicitor will be responsible for delivering a high-quality legal service to a varied client base, including both employers and employees. You will handle a wide range of employment law matters and play a key role in supporting the department’s growth and success.
The day-to-day job duties within this role include:
- Advising clients on employment law matters including tribunals, litigation, TUPE, mediation, and Settlement Agreements
- Interviewing clients to take detailed instructions and discuss progress throughout each case
- Drafting and reviewing employment documentation such as policies and procedures
- Ensuring client files are meticulously maintained with accurate and comprehensive records
- Handling client queries efficiently both in person and via telephone
- Complying with departmental processes and quality standards
- Actively participating in business development initiatives
Person Specification
The successful Employment Solicitor will be a qualified Solicitor, or CILEX qualified Legal Executive, with 2–4 years’ post-qualified experience in employment law. You will be motivated, professional, and committed to delivering exceptional client service.
You will possess the following experience, skills and attributes:
- Proven track record in employment law, including contentious and non-contentious matters
- Experience advising both employers and employees
- A proactive, client-focused approach to case management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- A team-player attitude with a desire to contribute to departmental and firm-wide success
