Eventus Legal are seeking an Employment Solicitor / Legal Executive to join a successful law firm based in Northampton. However, the opportunity is available across all offices in the company portfolio consisting of offices in South Yorkshire, East Midlands & Lincolnshire. This is a permanent, full-time role. Role Responsibilities
As an Employment Lawyer, you will represent clients in a broad range of employment matters. You will be responsible for providing legal advice, handling, and managing employment cases, and providing support on contentious and non-contentious matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing legal advice to clients on a variety of employment matters including contracts, redundancies, disciplinaries, grievances, TUPE, and employment tribunal claims.
- Representing clients in employment tribunals and court proceedings.
- Drafting, reviewing, and amending a range of employment-related documents.
- Keeping clients informed of case developments and advising on strategy and risk.
- Liaising and negotiating with opponents and third parties to achieve the best possible outcome for clients.
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Contributing to the firm's business development and marketing initiatives.
Person Specification
The incoming Employment Solicitor will be a confident professional with first class interpersonal and motivational skills and the passion to help drive the Firm forward. Importantly, the candidate will need the following:
- Proven track record of employment law, with a minimum of 3 years+ PQE.
- Possess good management and supervisory skills.
- Have a strong desire to market and develop their branch.
- Have a strong work ethic, good time management skills and a flexible approach to work.
