Eventus Legal are seeking a Senior Employment Solicitor for a permanent, full-time job with a leading North West law firm, based in Kendal with hybrid and flexible working available. This Employment Solicitor job also offers 25 days annual leave, healthcare cash plan and bonus scheme.

About the Job

As the incoming Employment Solicitor, your responsibilities will include:

• Running your own caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, acting for both employer and employee clients
• Attending Employment Tribunals and courts as required
• Collaborating with the wider team on more complex matters
• Contributing to the department's business development activity
• Adhering to the firm's AML processes

About You

This Employment Solicitor job would suit a qualified associate or senior associate solicitor with 5 to 10 years' PQE. You should also be able to demonstrate the following:

• Previous experience of business client or Respondent work, ideally gained within a commercial law firm
• Confidence advising owners, senior managers and HR teams on day-to-day employment and HR matters
• Strong drafting skills across contracts, handbooks and settlement agreements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
• The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

Experience of corporate support work, business development activity, or supervising junior fee earners would be an advantage.
