Eventus Legal are seeking an ambitious Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join one of the East Midlands most well regarded multi-service law firms based out of modern commercial offices in Loughborough, Leicestershire. This is a permanent, full time job opportunity. Benefits include hybrid and flexible working, free/subsidised parking, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pensions scheme and a competitive salary £40,000-£55,000 DOE.

Role Responsibilities

As a Dispute Resolution solicitor, your new job will see you working closely with a Senior Solicitor within the department and taking responsibility for your own caseload of dispute resolution matters.

You will be fully supported by an experienced team and have legal assistant and paralegal support to enable you to focus on providing high quality service to each and every client.

This opportunity would suit a Solicitor with a solid background in litigation who is looking to retrain and diversify into dispute resolution.

Specific duties will include:

  • Managing a varied caseload of dispute resolution matters from instruction through to completion
  • Advising clients on a wide range of contentious matters, including breach of contract claims, shareholder disputes, professional negligence, debt recovery, property litigation, construction disputes
  • Maintaining accurate file management, billing records, and compliance with regulatory obligations
  • Supporting business development activities as and when required and helping to build and maintain client relationships
  • Conducting legal research and providing clear, commercially focused advice

 

Person Specification

Applications are sought from Dispute Resolution Solicitors with a background in handling a diverse range of contentious matters. Applications are welcome from Solicitor who possesses strong litigation skills in a different area of law, looking to retrain into dispute resolution

  • Qualified Solicitor, NQ-5 year PQE
  • Prior experience managing or assisting on a caseload of dispute resolution matters
  • Ability to demonstrate strong litigation and negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Competent IT skills and experience using case management systems
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience building and maintaining strong client relationships
