Eventus Legal are seeking a Dispute Resolution Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join the team of a well-established, Legal 500, multi-service law firm in Margate, Kent. This is a full-time, permanent, litigation job position in offices centrally located close to transport links. Role Responsibilities
The incoming Dispute Resolution Solicitor will be required to manage their caseload and efficiently deliver excellent customer service. The role will require you to frequently issue court proceedings and attend court, draft court documents, witness statements and instructions to experts. Your cases will surround:
- General litigation
- Probate and will disputes
- Property law including landlord and tenant
- Boundary disputes
- Employment law
- Contracts
Person Specification
To be successful in your application as the incoming Dispute Resolution Solicitor with at least 3 years’ PQE. You will be a proactive individual who has excellent verbal and written communication skills. We are seeking applications also from Chartered Legal Executives with relevant experience within a litigation team. The firm also is looking for the following skills and experience:
- Experience handling a varied caseload of the above matters without supervision
- Organised with effective time management skills
- Strong administration and IT skills
- Operate with integrity, demonstrating your empathy and intuition
- Proactive and flexible to business needs
