Eventus Legal are seeking a Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join a successful law firm based in Sheffield, although there is an option to work from one of the firms offices. Role Responsibilities
The incoming Dispute Resolution Solicitor will be responsible for dealing with an existing caseload of Litigation files (NON-PI) which include but not limited to; Commercial disputes, Shareholder disputes, boundary disputes, contentious probate, employment disputes such as unfair dismissal as well as general Civil matters.
There will be an expectation to network and develop the department further and build upon the existing structure.
Person Specification
As the incoming Dispute Resolution Solicitor, you will have experience in dealing with all commercial and civil litigation matters and taking on existing matters and managing and progressing your own caseload to a successful conclusion.
Importantly, you will also be able to display:
- Strong Litigation experience
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including word and outlook.
- Excellent communication and client care skills.
- Expert drafting skills.
- Strong organisation skills.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to summarise and present complex information in a clear and accessible way.
- Innate ability to work methodically and accurately with an excellent attention to detail.
- Strong presentation skills.
