Job Responsibilities
This Dispute Resolution Associate job offers the opportunity to work on a varied caseload of contentious matters whilst contributing to the continued growth and success of an established Dispute Resolution team.
The day-to-day duties within this Dispute Resolution Associate job are likely to include:
- Managing your own caseload of Dispute Resolution matters from instruction through to resolution.
- Providing commercially focused legal advice and exceptional client service.
- Drafting legal documents, correspondence and court documentation.
- Conducting legal research and advising clients on litigation strategy and risk.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Working closely with colleagues across the wider firm.
- Assisting with business development and networking activities.
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team where appropriate.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and risk management procedures.
- Contributing to the continued growth and success of the department.
Person Specification
The successful Dispute Resolution Associate will be a confident and commercially aware Solicitor with strong technical ability and a genuine commitment to client service.
The successful Dispute Resolution Associate will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Qualified Solicitor with approximately 5 years' PQE or above.
- Previous experience handling a litigation or dispute resolution caseload.
- Strong technical and client management skills.
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach.
- Interest in business development and helping to grow client relationships.
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues would be advantageous.
