Role Responsibilities
As the incoming Debt Recovery Lawyer / Fee Earner, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting client consultations and providing expert guidance on debt recovery processes, such as initiating legal proceedings and pursuing judgments
- Evaluating legal documents and precedents to ensure precise advice and procedural accuracy
- Creating bespoke legal documents and correspondence in line with current regulatory requirements
- Advocating firmly for clients during negotiations and legal proceedings when necessary
- Cultivating and nurturing professional connections with clients, partners, and colleagues to bolster the firm's standing
- Offering guidance and support to junior staff members to foster their professional growth
- Efficiently managing time recording and billing objectives while adhering to case deadlines
About You
Are you an experienced Debt Recovery Solicitor, Legal Executive or Fee Earning Paralegal who is keen to join a high performing team with an excellent client base? If so, this could be the ideal opportunity for you. The firm is seeking a Debt Recovery Lawyer, ideally with at least 5 years' PQE who can demonstrate the following:
- In-depth understanding of debt recovery procedures, including court processes and enforcement strategies
- A proven track record of fostering strong client relationships through excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work autonomously while seamlessly integrating into a collaborative team environment
- Exceptional organisational capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and adept management of competing priorities
