Eventus Legal are seeking a Criminal Solicitor with experience to join a successful team based in County Durham. The successful candidate will be handling a mixed caseload with a high level of administration support. The role is a permanent position.

Role responsibilities

The incoming Criminal Solicitor will be taking responsibility of a large caseload of Criminal matters including Magistrates’ and Crown Court Matters and Police Station call outs.  

Person specification

Applications are sought from Solicitors with experience in criminal matters, both Magistrate’s Court and Crown Court work, often of a complex nature, although Counsel is briefed for Crown Court cases. Ideally you will be on or working towards the Duty Solicitors Panel and be able to undertake out of hours Police station work. You must have a full driving licence and your own vehicle.

NQ Solicitors will be considered for this position, and the appropriate level of support and training will be given.

The firm are willing to offer a generous salary and flexible working is on offer, subject to caseload requirements.
