Eventus Legal is recruiting a Court of Protection Executive for a reputable law firm in Liverpool who are highly regarded for providing first class legal advice. This is a permanent, full time job role with flexible and hybrid working. Role Responsibilities
As the Court of Protection Executive, you will be a Grade C Fee Earner with significant experience. Your role will involve leadership responsibilities, supporting the Team Leaders and Head of Department in the daily management of clients and team development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing client files independently, ensuring targets for chargeable hours and recovery rates are met or exceeded
- Providing training and support to junior team members
- Collaborating with team leaders across the department, setting a standard for effective leadership
- Offering empathetic support in emotionally challenging cases, identifying when additional support is required
- Leading client meetings and communications with limited supervision, ensuring expectations are managed appropriately
- Contributing to the efficiency of processes within the Court of Protection team and sharing best practices
- Maintaining a strong understanding of client finances and ensuring profitability through effective case management
- Regularly reviewing workload with supervisors to meet or exceed chargeable hour targets
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will be a Court of Protection Fee Earner and a passionate leader who excels at motivating and inspiring others. You will be a key figure in fostering a supportive learning environment and actively participate in training and development within the department. You should also possess the following qualities:
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication abilities, both internally and externally
- A passion for achieving personal, departmental, and business goals
