Eventus Legal are seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Paralegal, join a busy and very well established residential conveyancing department based in Newark, Nottinghamshire. This is a permanent, full time and fully office based Residential Conveyancing role. Role Responsibilities 

As an experienced Residential Conveyancing Paralegal in Newark, Nottinghamshire you will be joining a large, established and highly regarded Residential Conveyancing department boasting a wealth of experienced Solicitors and Fee Earners. This Residential Conveyancing role will suit a confident Paralegal, who has had exposure to a varied caseload of Residential Conveyancing transactions. 

Specific duties will include: 

  • Assisting the Residential Conveyancing team with a mixed caseload of residential property sales and purchase transactions 

  • Handling leasehold matters, help to buy and right to buy schemes, new build sales and purchases, mortgages, remortgages, shared ownership, affordable housing and transfer of equity matters 

  • Providing clear, effective communication and excellent customer care to clients at every stage of their conveyancing transaction 

Person Specification 

Applications are sought from experienced Residential Conveyancing Paralegals in and around Newark, Nottinghamshire with a solid background within residential conveyancing. 

You will also have: 

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a hands on residential conveyancing role  

  • Prior experience managing a busy and varied residential property caseload 

  • Experience dealing with exchange of contracts and completion 

  • Knowledge of freehold, leasehold and new build transactions, including reviewing TP1s 

  • Experience using the Land Registry Portal and lender portals 

  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to build professional relationships 

  • Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach
