Eventus Legal are seeking a Residential Conveyancer to join a friendly and well-established law firm on a permanent, full-time basis in Stoke-on-Trent. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced conveyancing professional to join a supportive Residential Property team that is committed to delivering a high-quality and client-focused service.

Role Responsibilities
The Residential Conveyancer will play a key role within the Residential Property department, managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to post-completion. You will work collaboratively with colleagues and department heads while maintaining high standards of client care and compliance throughout the transaction process.
The day-to-day job duties within this role include:
- Overseeing a varied caseload of residential property matters from initial instruction through to completion
- Preparing and processing legal documents associated with residential transactions
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients and third parties throughout the conveyancing process
- Reviewing legal paperwork and identifying any issues requiring further investigation
- Coordinating property searches and communicating outcomes to clients where appropriate
- Managing financial documentation connected to transactions, including mortgage and redemption information
- Supporting the progression of matters through exchange and completion stages
- Carrying out client due diligence and anti-money laundering checks in line with compliance requirements
- Assisting with post-completion matters and Land Registry submissions
- Preparing and submitting SDLT documentation where required
- Maintaining accurate file management and ensuring records are updated consistently
Person Specification
The successful Residential Conveyancer will have previous experience handling a residential property caseload independently and will enjoy working within a collaborative and client-focused team environment.
Applications are welcomed from Solicitors, Legal Executives, Licenced Conveyancers and those not formally qualified, but experienced in residential property matters.
