About the Job
You will be joining a successful and supportive conveyancing department, working alongside experienced colleagues to deliver high-quality legal services. You will manage and progress a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters while contributing to the wider success of the team and maintaining excellent client care throughout.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion
- Preparing and issuing contract packs and reviewing title documentation
- Raising and responding to enquiries on purchase transactions
- Ordering and reporting on searches and mortgage documentation
- Handling exchanges, completions and post-completion formalities
- Carrying out compliance tasks including ID and source of funds checks
- Liaising with clients, lenders and estate agents to progress matters efficiently
- Supporting the wider team and contributing to departmental performance
About You
You’ll be an experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner who is confident managing a varied caseload and delivering high levels of client care. You will be proactive, organised, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team within a fast-paced environment.
You should also be able to demonstrate the following:
- Experience managing residential conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion
- Strong understanding of conveyancing processes including contracts, searches and enquiries
- Ability to review legal documents and provide clear, practical advice to clients
- Confident communication skills when dealing with clients, lenders and third parties
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Knowledge of compliance requirements including AML and regulatory standards
- A collaborative approach and willingness to support colleagues within the department
