Eventus Recruitment are seeking a Conveyancing Assistant/Paralegal to join the Residential Property department of a well-established law firm in Liverpool City Centre. This is a full-time, permanent job offering an engaging mix of responsibilities, including assisting with a varied caseload of residential property matters. About the Role
This is an ideal opportunity for a Legal Assistant or Paralegal with a minimum of 6 months conveyancing experience to join a thriving team You’ll work closely with fee earners, supporting a busy caseload of residential property matters while ensuring transactions progress smoothly and clients receive outstanding care.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with caseloads including sales, purchases, re-mortgages and transfers of equity
- Progressing files in line with firm procedures and SRA/CQS compliance standards
- Using systems such as LMS, Lender Exchange, and HMLR portals
- Communicating clearly with clients and third parties, updating them regularly
- Ensuring accurate record keeping on the case management system
- Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to risk management and compliance protocols
About You
To succeed in this Conveyancing Assistant/Paralegal job in Liverpool, you’ll need a strong grounding in residential conveyancing work and a proactive, client-focused approach. You’ll also be able to demonstrate:
- At least 6 months recent experience in a residential conveyancing assistant position
- High standards of client care and professionalism
- Confidence using case management systems and conveyancing portals
- A methodical, organised working style with strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with SRA and CQS compliance expectations
- A collaborative, team-based mindset
