Eventus Legal is seeking a Conveyancing Assistant to join a well-established regional law firm with offices based in the Preston and Burnley areas. This is a full-time, permanent position with a highly regarded and successful residential conveyancing team, offering an excellent salary of up to £27,000 (depending on experience) and a range of benefits including an additional day of for your birthday, free parking and flexible working.
This role would suit a Legal Assistant or Paralegal with residential property experience and who is passionate about a long-term career in conveyancing. About the Role
As the incoming Conveyancing Assistant or Paralegal, you will be working closely with experienced Conveyancers and Solicitors. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the team in managing a caseload of residential property transactions including sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity
- Preparing and reviewing legal documentation and reports
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other side solicitors
- Conducting searches, file opening and compliance tasks
- Assisting with exchange and completion processes
- Taking a proactive approach to progressing matters
- Providing excellent client care
About You
This role is suited to a Legal Assistant or Paralegal with previous experience in residential conveyancing, who is looking for a firm where they can continue to grow and develop their career.
