Eventus Recruitment are seeking a Conveyancing Assistant to join a top-tier Legal 500 firm in Liverpool. This is a full-time, permanent job offering a salary of £24,000 to £27,000 depending on experience. Based in their modern Liverpool offices, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone with at least 6 months’ experience supporting a busy conveyancing team. The job offers high-quality residential conveyancing work with the chance to gain exposure to plot sales. You will be joining a supportive and collaborative team within a growing property department known for delivering excellent service to clients.

 

About the Role

As the incoming Conveyancing Assistant, you’ll be supporting the Residential Property team across a wide variety of tasks. This is an office-based job where you will be involved in client care and technical processes from start to finish.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and issuing conveyancing quotes
  • Opening and closing client files
  • Supporting conveyancers throughout the lifecycle of residential transactions
  • Handling post-completion work including submission of SDLT forms and Land Registry applications
  • Managing file progression, diary entries, and liaising with clients and third parties
  • Drafting documentation and carrying out general administrative duties
  • Supporting on plot sales work where required

 

About You

This Conveyancing Assistant job would suit someone with a proactive mindset and a genuine interest in property law. The hiring firm is seeking someone who can demonstrate:

  • At least 6 months’ experience as a Legal Assistant or Conveyancing Assistant
  • Familiarity with residential property transactions from quote to post-completion
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Confidence in liaising with clients, agents and lenders
  • Plot sales experience (desirable but not essential)
