About the Role
The Conveyancing Assistant will play an important part in a collaborative and well-established property team. You’ll be supporting a busy caseload of property transactions, particularly focused on residential and commercial developments and plot sales.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and issuing conveyancing quotes
- Opening and closing client files
- Conducting title and document reviews and preparing supporting reports
- Ordering conveyancing searches and analysing the results
- Drafting, reviewing, and preparing legal documentation for transactions
- Supporting fee earners with file progression and client liaison
- Overseeing post-completion formalities and maintaining compliance
- Ensuring the smooth running of files from instruction to completion
About You
To be considered for this Conveyancing Assistant job in Lytham, you must have at least one year of paid experience in a conveyancing setting, either residential or commercial property.
You will also demonstrate the following:
- Friendly and professional communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to prioritise a busy workload with minimal supervision
- Strong IT proficiency and comfort with legal systems
- A client-focused, proactive approach to work
