About the Role
The incoming Conveyancing Assistant will work closely with fee earners and solicitors in the Residential Property department, helping to manage transactions from instruction through to completion. You’ll be playing a vital role in keeping processes on track and maintaining client satisfaction. Responsibilities include:
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to the conveyancing team
- Liaising with clients, estate agents and mortgage lenders
- Preparing contract packs, completion statements and Land Registry forms
- Conducting AML and compliance checks and managing client onboarding
- Using case management systems to maintain accurate digital files
- Dealing with post-completion matters such as SDLT and Land Registry submissions
- Providing administrative support across a varied caseload
About You
To be considered for this Conveyancing Assistant job in Liverpool, you will have prior experience in a conveyancing or legal support position and be confident supporting a busy property team. You’ll also be able to demonstrate:
- Previous experience working in residential property, ideally as a Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary or Conveyancing Assistant
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with conveyancing processes and digital case management systems
- A proactive, client-focused mindset and a professional manner
