This is a permanent, full-time job where you’ll be working within a thriving Residential Property team, supporting experienced conveyancers on a wide range of transactions. About the Role
As a Residential Conveyancing Assistant, you will be supporting a team of highly experienced fee earners across a busy caseload. You’ll play a vital part in helping transactions proceed smoothly and efficiently. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to the conveyancing team
- Liaising with clients, estate agents and mortgage lenders
- Preparing legal documents including contracts, transfer deeds, and completion statements
- Dealing with search requests, mortgage offers and exchange/completion dates
- Using digital case management systems to maintain file accuracy
- Assisting with ID checks, AML and compliance procedures
- Handling incoming queries and maintaining client communication
About You
To be considered for this Conveyancing Assistant job in Lytham, you’ll need previous experience within a conveyancing or property department, either as an Assistant, Secretary, or Legal Administrator. You’ll be able to demonstrate the following:
- Previous experience supporting fee earners in a residential conveyancing setting
- Confidence in dealing with clients and third parties such as estate agents and lenders
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- A warm, professional manner and strong communication abilities
- Familiarity with conveyancing processes and digital case management
- A collaborative and flexible attitude to teamwork
