Eventus Legal is seeking a Residential Property Conveyancer to join a growing and well established law firm in Sevenoaks, Kent. Candidates will ideally be qualified with 2+ years’ PQE as a Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer. This is a permanent full time job offering a salary of £45,000 to £55,000 (depending on experience), hybrid working with days working from home available after an initial onboarding period, flexible start and finish times, 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays and a Christmas shutdown, a pension contribution matched up to 5%, private healthcare, and an annual bonus scheme. The Residential Property Solicitor will join an experienced and collaborative team and manage a varied caseload of residential property transactions.
Role Responsibilities
The Residential Property Conveyancer will be based in Sevenoaks, Kent and will manage a varied caseload and work directly with clients, with support available from experienced colleagues on more complex matters and from support staff with administration. Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing residential property sales and purchases from instruction through to completion
- Handling remortgages and transfers of equity
- Providing clear, practical legal advice to clients throughout their transactions
- Supporting senior team members on more complex residential property matters
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Actively contributing to business development and the continued growth of the residential property team
Person Specification
Applications are welcomed from Residential Property Conveyancers who are qualified and have 2+ years’ PQE, and live within commuting distance of Sevenoaks, Kent. You will need to be able to demonstrate that you can combine strong technical knowledge with a proactive and client focused approach. You should also be able to have the following skills and experience:
- Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 2 years' PQE in residential property
- Strong technical knowledge across residential conveyancing transactions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively
- A proactive approach to client care and relationship management
- An interest in business development and contributing to the ongoing growth of the team
