Eventus Legal are seeking a Conveyancer to join a friendly and progressive law firm in Carlisle or Penrith. This is a permanent job available as either full-time or part-time. The firm offer an excellent salary based on experience, generous holiday allowance including birthday leave and Christmas leave, and genuine career progression opportunities. This job opportunity in would suit a Residential Conveyancer, Licensed Conveyancer or experienced Property Fee Earner looking to progress their career within a supportive and collaborative firm.

 

About the Job

As the incoming Property Fee Earner you will join a busy and established residential property department, working alongside experienced colleagues who are committed to delivering excellent service to clients across the region. You’ll manage a varied caseload of property transactions while developing strong client relationships.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Managing residential conveyancing transactions including property sales and purchases
  • Handling matters from initial instruction through to completion
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other third parties throughout transactions
  • Preparing and reviewing legal documents and correspondence
  • Ensuring transactions progress efficiently while maintaining excellent client care
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues within the property department

 

About You

You’ll be a Property Fee Earner, Licensed Conveyancer or Property Solicitor who is experienced managing a varied caseload of property transactions. You’ll be able to demonstrate the following:

  • At least two years’ experience working in a residential conveyancing job
  • Strong knowledge of residential property transactions and conveyancing procedures
  • Commercial property knowledge would be advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Self-motivated approach with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Strong communication skills and a client-focused mindset
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
