Eventus Legal are seeking a Residential Property Solicitor, Legal Executive or Conveyancer to join a respected, multi-service law firm in Birkenhead. This is a full-time, permanent position offering hybrid working (50/50), up to £40,000 salary and generous benefits such as healthcare cashback plan, free parking and more.
About the Role
This is a transactional conveyancing role, with a caseload of up to 100 files covering a range of residential property matters. You’ll manage the full process from initial instruction through to completion, supported by a collaborative team and modern systems.
You will be managing a caseload including the following matters:
- Sales and purchases of freehold, leasehold, and commonhold property
- Re-mortgages, transfer of equity, and equity release
Your responsibilities will include:
- Drafting and reporting on title
- Raising and responding to enquiries
- Title investigations, applying for mortgage funds, and preparing completion statements
- Handling SDLT submissions, HMLR registration, and closing files
- Delegating and overseeing tasks for a Paralegal and Legal Assistant
About You
As the incoming Residential Property Solicitor, Legal Executive or Conveyancer you’ll have strong residential conveyancing experience and enjoy running your own caseload with confidence. Qualification is not essential. What matters is solid experience and the ability to hit the ground running and ability to demonstrate:
- Experience managing residential property transactions from start to finish
- Strong organisational and decision-making skills
- Clear, professional communication — both written and verbal
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
- A calm, practical approach to handling a busy caseload
- Ability to delegate effectively and work as part of a wider team
If you have experience using Proclaim and liaising with brokers, introducers and agents that would be advantageous but isn’t essential to be considered for this role.
