About the Role
As Construction Partner, you will lead the construction and engineering practice. Key responsibilities will include:
- Advising on contentious and non-contentious matters.
- Drafting and negotiating JCT, NEC and bespoke contracts, appointments, warranties and security packages.
- Handling adjudication, arbitration and litigation.
- Supporting property colleagues on development finance, plot sales and development agreements.
- Growing the client base through firm infrastructure and referrals.
About You
This opportunity suits an experienced construction lawyer at Senior Associate or Legal Director level who is ready to step into Partnership. You should also be able to demonstrate the following:
- Strong contentious and non-contentious technical skills.
- An established or developing client base.
- The commercial drive and ambition to build a practice.
