Eventus Legal are seeking a Commercial Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a successful law firm. The incoming Commercial Solicitor can be based in the law firm's Lincoln, Nottingham, or South Yorkshire offices. This is a permanent, full-time role. Role Responsibilities
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Solicitor or Legal Executive to join my clients well-established corporate department. The successful legal professional will manage their own caseload with supervision and support when required and will help drive the firm forward.
Your typical day-to-day duties may also include:
- Conduct of company and business sale and purchase transactions with support where required.
- Corporate support on larger more complex transactions.
- Drafting corporate transaction documents, restructures, and demergers.
- Advising on commercial agreements.
- Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
- Advising clients on various corporate matters arising in transactions and restructuring.
- Advising and implementing corporate aspects of succession planning.
Person Specification
The incoming Commercial Solicitor or Legal Executive will be a confident professional with first class interpersonal and motivational skills and the passion to help drive the Firm forward. Importantly, the Solicitor will need the following:
- Be a qualified Commercial Solicitor or Legal Executive (up to 4 years PQE), be self-motivated and able to organise their own workload.
- Have a strong work ethic, good time management skills and a positive and proactive approach to both, clients, and staff.
- Have a strong desire to market and develop their branch.
