Role Responsibilities
The Commercial Property Solicitor will be based in Leatherhead, Surrey and will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of commercial property matters. The day to day responsibilities within this role include:
- Handling acquisitions, disposals, leases, and development projects
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, leases, and related documentation
- Conducting due diligence including title checks, searches, and compliance reviews
- Advising on landlord and tenant matters, property finance, and development issues
- Maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and firm policies
- Building strong client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives
- Supporting the development and mentoring of junior colleagues
Person Specification
The successful Commercial Property Solicitor in Leatherhead, Surrey will be a qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with a minimum of 4 years PQE and experience managing their own caseload.
In addition, you will possess the following experience, skills, and attributes:
- Proven experience in commercial property law
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Excellent organisational ability and ability to meet deadlines
- Commercial awareness with a client focused approach
- Experience in development, planning, or property finance would be advantageous
