Eventus Legal are seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor with experience to join a successful, team based in either their Derby or Nottingham offices. Role Responsibilities
In this Commercial Property Solicitor job, you will work closely with 3 other fee earners including the Partner, to provide support on a range of matters including:
- The sale, purchase, and leasing of commercial property for a range of sites (from offices and retail units to warehouses and agricultural land).
- Development work; and
- Corporate support on share and asset sales and purchases.
The team also undertakes a small amount of high value residential conveyancing and is well regarded for their work on academy conversions and inter-academy transfers within the education sector.
Person Specification
As the incoming Commercial Property Solicitor, you will have good technical and communication skills. You will demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively not only within the Commercial Property Department but across the firm’s Corporate and Employment teams.
Importantly, you will also be able to display:
- Two years’ post qualification experience within Commercial Property.
- Evidence of study for a professional qualification.
- Good I.T skills.
- Hardworking, organised, and reliable approach.
- Results focus, with an ability to work to strict deadlines.
- Team player, resourcefulness, and confidence.

They are celebrating 10 years this year. However, they call upon vast experience via their founder who has 30 years plus experience in Law. The firm won “deal of the year 2022” for transactions under £10m and were shortlisted for SME deal of the year in the Midlands Dealmakers awards.
