Eventus Legal are seeking an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor, Associate or Senior Associate to join a highly successful Commercial Property team in Newcastle. This is a permanent role with great benefits including true hybrid working and a highly rewarding uncapped bonus.

Role responsibilities

The incoming Commercial Property Solicitor will be responsible for a high quality, complex and varied caseload including:

• Commercial sales, purchases, site acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant matters, secured lending, development work and corporate support
• Acting for a diverse range of clients nationally ranging from private individuals to PLC companies, many of whom are loyal and long-standing clients of the firm
• Active involvement in business development with a view to developing professional relationships and growing client base
• Drafting and negotiating legal documentation including bespoke overage agreements, options, conditional contracts

Depending on experience, the position is offered at Solicitor, Associate or Senior Associate level. 

Person specification

Applications are sought from Commercial Property Solicitors and Fellows of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives that experienced in all aspects of Commercial Property, ideally those with 3 PQE and above, although all applicants who can demonstrate suitability will be considered. You should have experience in landlord and tenant, secured lending and experience in construction and development would be an advantage but is not required.
