  • Attending meetings, taking notes and dealing with routine client enquiries and communications where appropriate.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date matter files, key dates and deed storage, including file closing procedures.
  • Providing cover for fee earners during periods of absence by identifying urgent issues and referring them to another fee earner for guidance.
  • Contributing to shared office administration on a rota basis where required.

Person Specification

This is an experience-led appointment for someone who already has practical commercial property exposure and can provide reliable support from the outset. Corporate or commercial experience would be advantageous, but commercial property experience is essential. Applications are welcomed from candidates who can demonstrate the following:

  • A proactive approach, with the ability to use initiative appropriately while working within supervision.
  • A positive, adaptable and accommodating approach to supporting colleagues across two departments.
  • Good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • This is not a graduate-entry position and applicants will need relevant practical commercial property experience.
